Bachelor of Theology (BTh)

The Bachelor of Theology (BTh) is a rigorous 3-year program designed to provide in-depth theological education and prepare students for leadership in Christian ministry, pastoral care, theological research, and mission work.

1. Entry Avenues:

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or its equivalent

  • Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with at least TWO principal passes at the same sitting

2. Mature Age Entry

Applicants aged 25 years and above who do not qualify via direct entry may apply through this route by:

  • Passing the Cornerstone University Mature Entry Examinations

This pathway is designed for individuals with significant ministry or life experience who now seek formal theological training.

3. Diploma Entry

Applicants with:

  • A Second-Class (Lower) Diploma in Theology from a recognized institution

This option is ideal for individuals who already have a background in theological education and are seeking advanced knowledge and credentials.

4. HEAC Entry

A Higher Education Access Certificate (HEAC) from a recognized institution is accepted as a valid entry route.
